Santana Named WAC Track Athlete of the Week

FRESNO, Calif. - The Western Athletic Conference named Bulldog Marina Santana the WAC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week of April 7.
Santana ran a WAC-leading 800-meter dash at the Stanford Invitational this weekend, clocking a personal-best time of 2:12.61. The senior from Woodland Hills, Calif., took seventh out of 32 racers and her time ranks at the ninth-best in Fresno State history.
Santana is the third Bulldog to win the Women's WAC Track Athlete of the Week this season.
