Young Alumni Sell Out Season Tickets

FRESNO, Calif. - There is a lot of excitement around the upcoming season of the No. 25 ranked Fresno State football team. The Bulldogs play an exciting schedule with home games against No. 12 Wisconsin, Hawai'i, Nevada, Idaho and New Mexico State.
Tickets are going fast for the upcoming season and the recent graduates of Fresno State have taken advantage of the opportunity to get season tickets. The Bulldog ticket office originally designated 350 Young Alumni tickets to the Alumni Association but because of the demand, the Bulldog Ticket Office opened up another section and have now sold 488 Young Alumni season tickets, 162 more than last year.
According to Fresno State Director of Ticket Operations Russell Hayden, the Young Alumni Seasons tickets are completely sold out.
"Having the young alumni step up and sell out of their ticket allotment is tremendous," Fresno State associate athletics director Paul Ladwig said. "This will be an area that we will continue to grow and develop with our friends in the alumni office and make this section of Bulldog Stadium very special."
The Young Alumni season tickets could be purchased by anyone who graduated from Fresno State in 2004-08. The season tickets are $99 and each alumnus could purchase up to four tickets.
"This is a great partnership between Athletics and the Alumni Association," Executive Director of the Alumni Association Jacqui Glasener said. "We appreciate the opportunity given to our newest graduates to stay connected to the University through Bulldog Football!"
Fresno State fans are excited about the upcoming season as 4,000 tickets remain for the Wisconsin game and 24,000 season tickets have been sold.
Bulldog Foundation season tickets are still available in the Red and Premium seats. Plus, the Bulldog Ticket Office has Public, Mini-Plans, and Family Plans still for sale on a season basis. All packages include the game against Wisconsin.
"Join the State - Fresno State!" - The first Big Ten team will travel to the Valley on September 13th as the No. 25 `Dogs take on Wisconsin in the home opener at 7:30 pm.
