- Sophomore Mike Ladd led all Bulldogs with 15 points. Over the past two games, Ladd has averaged 16.5 points and hit eight 3-pointers in a return to his hot hand from the field.
- The Bulldogs out scored the Bison in transition, 24-0, and dominated down low with 22 points in the paint to just 12. Fresno State also scored 24 points off of turnovers to just six for the Bison.
- At halftime, Fresno State led North Dakota State, 38-26. The Bulldogs outshot the Bison 48.1% to 40.9%. Of note, the Bulldogs recorded 11 assists, eight steals and three blocks in the opening session.
- Garrett Johnson scored his first 3-pointer of his Bulldog career six minutes into the game. Through the first 11 games, seven Bulldogs have notched a 3-pointer.
- Sophomore Steven Shepp dished out a season-high nine assists
- Jerry Brown continued his hot shooting by going 3-for-3 from the field. He is now 9-for-10 (90 percent) from the field on the season. The freshman from Richmond, Calif., saw his most minutes (18) of the season on Saturday against the Bison and did not disappoint with a season-high eight points and four rebounds.
- Before the game, Fresno State observed a moment of silence in honor of Jose Elgorriaga, a legendary former Fresno State men's soccer head coach, who passed away earlier this week at this week at age 82. Elgorriaga coached the Bulldogs from 1980-90. He guided the `Dogs to a 1986 NCAA Final Four and a No. 1 preseason ranking in 1987.
