Steve Cleveland, Fresno State Head Coach
"We give Pacific credit. They hit big threes and we had some defensive breakdowns in terms of switching out and doing some things. But we just played very poorly and that's not to say Pacific didn't play well and do some things to impact our game but I'm just really disappointed in the overall effort and the overall just execution of what we're trying to do."
"We didn't play very well, I don't know what to tell you. We missed eight for 22 from the free throw line, we missed 12 shots inside of two feet."
It's just like were in panic mode right now and you know we've got guys who have been playing well and haven't been playing well, but at the end of the day we just have to figure out ways to get a meaningful stops when we need to get stops. Right now it's a ship that needs to be righted.
"We're going to get ready for a very good San Diego team that has wins over Houston and Oklahoma and Stanford. We're going to have to figure out a way to compete at a higher level than we are competing right now."
Bob Thomason, Pacific Head Coach
"Dimitrius played great for us tonight. He had great passes, nice drives and he really did a good job managing the game. This is new to him and I really liked his temperament and poise."
"I still think we have some to gain on offense, we were missing some starters tonight but with the way Demetrius played tonight you would be crazy to think I'm going to take him out of the starting lineup. That would just be crazy!"
"In the first half we went in hard on Ladd knowing he was a good three point shooter and we shut him down which opened the door for George to score 13 on us. Then in the second half we switched to George and he only had two, so the defense played big tonight."
"Willard got in foul trouble and Pat came in and played big." When you go on the road without one of your stars doing much and still come away with the "W" that's pretty big."
