FRESNO, Calif. - Former Fresno State student-athletes are being provided an opportunity to stay involved with Bulldog athletics through Club Red. Club Red provides an opportunity to honor the past success of Fresno State student-athletes by continuing the legacy, traditions and values experienced from participating in intercollegiate athletics.
For the 2009 calendar year there will be many opportunities for former student-athletes at Fresno State athletic events.
First year membership will be free of charge and the benefits include free admission (active member and one guest) to regular season Fresno State athletics events (excluding football and men's basketball).
Membership in Club Red also includes 15 percent off at the Bulldog Shop and access to the Club Red Tailgate on football game days. The tailgate takes place at select home football games. All benefits are subject to change throughout the course of the year and seating for certain Bulldog events may be limited during sellout situations.
"I still take tremendous pride in being a Bulldog and Club Red provides the perfect forum," former Fresno State football player Jeff Thiesen said. "The ongoing camaraderie with former players is fun and stimulating. As a former Fresno State student-athlete, I am thrilled to have an organization that I know I can count on to stay connected! I encourage all alumni letter winners to be a part of our great organization."
