FRESNO, Calif.-Social networking has become a phenomenon for the 21st century. It is possible in person, especially in schools or in the workplace, it is most popular online. The internet is filled with millions of individuals who are looking to meet other internet users to develop friendships and business relationships.
Your Fresno State Mascot, Time Out, has decided to join the 21st century by creating a Facebook page. He currently has 518 friends and is trying to add more by getting fans and alumni to add him and join his networking circle.
By becoming Time Out's friend you can become intertwined in Bulldog athletics, you can be notified when there are changes in the times of particular events, or you can just chit-chat with Time Out and ask him, "How's the day in the life of Time Out?".
Facebook is a free-access social networking website that users can join to network by city; workplace, school, and region in order to connect and interact with other people. People can also add friends and send them messages, and update their personal profiles to notify friends about themselves.
Time Out wants to reconnect and stay connected to his favorite people and wants to let the Bulldog community know exactly what's happening in Bulldog sports. He will send weekly updates about all athletic events that span the campus.
"Time Out knows and understands the latest technology and is thrilled to have his own Facebook page, said Paul Ladwig.
"Quickly he has made new friends and is keeping them informed on the next game and what he is up to. He will have some special surprises for his friends very soon!"
If you become Time Out's friend he promises to keep you in tune with everything, including promotional events such as the "I Love Hoops" T-shirt promotion that is going on right now.
