FRESNO, Calif.- The final day of the 2009 UNLV Spring Invitational is now complete and the Bulldogs finished in 13th place.
Fresno State completed 54 holes with a total of 926 (+62). Lindi Covarrubias started the day tied for 31st. Her third round of 72 allowed her to climb up the leaderboard and finish tied for 24th and the Bulldogs' top finisher.
The host team led the 18-team field with a team total of 884, 20-over par. Mallory Hetzel and Marta Silva of Georgia tied for the top spot by carding a score for 2-under par 214.
Taylor Siebert shot 14-over par 230 to finish tied for 40th. Hali Coppin carded a 234 over 52 holes and sits at a tie for 59th place. Louisa Lies shot a total of 237 (+21) to finish tied for 66th. The final Bulldog competitor, Chelsea Czinski, posted a 77 in the final round to score a total of245 (+29).
The team with hit the green again on March 28 in Arizona for the Mountain View Colliegiate.
