Fresno State Championship Notes
- Fresno State is the first team to win back-to-back WAC tournament championships since Louisiana Tech in 2003 and 2004.
- Jaleesa Ross became the first ever player to be win back-to-back WAC Tournament MVP honors.
- Fresno State's defense held opponents to 51 points and 34 percent shooting in the three WAC tournament games.
- 24 wins ties a school record for most wins. The 2005-06 team finished the year with 24 wins.
- Jaleesa Ross' four 3-pointers moved her into first place on the schools' single-season list for 3-pointers made. She now has 93 and the school record was 89 set by Ross last year and Lindsay Logan in 2000-01.
- Fresno State's 85 3-point attempts in the WAC tournament set a new WAC tournament record for 3-pointers attempted.
- Fresno State's 27 3-pointers made tied the WAC tournament record for 3-pointers made. The Bulldogs tied the record last year and TCU also had 27 back in 2001.
- Jaleesa Ross' 26 3-pointer attempts in the WAC tournament set the tournament record for 3-pointers attempted by an individual.
- Fresno State has hit a school record 305 3-pointers and has led the nation in 3-pointers made all season long. They are averaging 9.5 3-pointers a game. The 305 3's is also a new WAC record.
- Fresno State's 875 3-pointers attempted is a school and WAC record.
- Fresno State is 2-1 in WAC tournament championship games.
- Fresno State is 21-1 when leading at halftime.
- Fresno State has given up fewer than 60 points in 19 games this year.
- Fresno State is 22-3 when tying or out rebounding an opponent.
