First Round of Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational Suspended

FRESNO, Calif.--The first round of the 2009 Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational has been suspended for the rest of the day on Monday, March 2.

The rain and course conditions at the Almaden Country Club contributed to the suspension.

The teams will attempt to finish the first and only round of the tournament Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m., pending the weather. If the round is completed the awards ceremony will take place Tuesday at approximately noon.

"Join the State - Fresno State!" - The Fresno State women's golf team will be back on the road when they play at the UNLV Spring Invitational on March 9-10 in Boulder City,Nev. The men's golf team will be host to the Fresno State Lexus Classic on March 9-10 at Belmont Country Club.
