BOISE, Idaho - The Fresno State volleyball team concludes the spring season with a trip to Los Angeles as the Bulldogs will compete all day Saturday at the Loyola Marymount Tournament.
In the morning, the `Dogs begin the day by taking on USC, followed by matches against Cal State Fullerton, LMU and UNLV.
"Last weekend, LMU taught us a lot and it'll be a good test to see if we can apply what we have been working on since then and stay with them defensively," said assistant coach Alanna Jackson.
This is the fourth and final spring tournament for the `Dogs as they have already competed the past two months at tournaments at Long Beach State, Cal State Northridge and one they hosted at the end of March.
"Every tournament has been better and better," said junior Lisa Gera. "This spring has been all about working on fundamentals and just doing our best and pouring it all on the court."
Spring matches do not count towards a teams' record and are played to the best of three. For complete tournament results, log on to www.gobulldogs.com Saturday night.
