Studio 108 Named First Red Friday Winner

FRESNO, Calif. - As the first game day of the 2009 football season nears, Fresno State Athletics challenged local businesses and organizations to show off their Bulldog spirit and many rose to the challenge and painted the Valley red. Studio 108 proved their Bulldog pride and were named the first grand prize winner of Red Friday.
"We are very excited to be the first Red Friday winner," said Vanessa Castellanos, Studio 108 Fitness Specialist. "I can't even explain it, we are very thrilled!"
"The entire staff at Studio 108 stepped up to the occasion with paint and decorations and took the top award today," said Associate Athletic Director of External Relations Paul Ladwig. "Everyone there proved they have the Red Wave Spirit. This was a great start to the campaign and we are looking forward to seeing who the next Red Friday winner will be. A large thanks to Clayton and the folks at Great Day for all of their help as well."
The local fitness center decorated their business top to bottom in Bulldog red. Studio 108 had a mini tailgate, paintings on the mirrors and all the fitness specialists were wearing Bulldog gear.
"We went to all the party stores and bought everything red, so we could cover the place in red," said Castellanos. "We knew we wanted to write on the windows and put slogans all over the place. We just brainstormed together and went out and bought it."

Timeout awarded the grand prize winners with 25 tickets to the game against UC Davis on Sept. 5. The prize package also included 100 Bulldog Bucks at the Bulldog Shop, a game ball autographed by Pat Hill and certificates for lunch.
This week's runner ups were Spike n Rail Steakhouse in Selma. They won 10 tickets to the game against UC Davis.
