FRESNO, Calif. - Freshman Greg Smith led Fresno State with 12 points and eight rebounds but Fresno State lost to the defending WAC champion Utah State 69-43 on Thursday night at the Save Mart Center.
The Bulldogs are 10-10 and 3-3 in WAC while Utah State improved to 14-6 and 4-2 in conference.
Brian Green scored a season-high 17 points and made five 3-pointers for Utah State and Jared Quayle had 13 points for the Aggies. Utah State has won four straight games.
Jared Quayle added 13 points for Utah State. The defending WAC champions won their fourth straight.
