Men and Women Runners Finish Top 10

FRESNO, Calif. - Both the men and women cross country runners finished in the top 10 in Santa Clara.

The men's team finished seventh overall out of ten total competitive teams. Fresno State finished with 201 points.
The women's team finished sixth overall, out of 10 teams. Fresno State finished with 212 points.
Freshman Bulldog, Olivier Collin finished sixth overall for the men with a time of 24:02.0. Junior Eric Battles placed 29th overall with a time of 24:42.4.
The women were led by Marrijtje Molenhuis with a time of 17:41.9 and a 22nd place finish. Freshman Saylah Barserian and junior Pamela Cruz also had top 50 finishes for the `Dogs to pace the team to their sixth place finish.
This concludes the Bulldog cross country regular season and they will now prepare for WAC Championships in Mascow, Idaho Oct. 30.
