"This was a very good way for us to end our fall season," said head coach Angie Cates-Moore. "Everyone finished on a pretty good note."
Senior Chelsea Czinski moved up three places today and ended the tournament tied in second place with a score of 151, which was just one stroke behind the individual winner of the tournament, Alexa Kim from Northern Arizona.
"Chelsea has worked so hard this season and it is great to see her finish strong," said Cates-Moore.
Sophomore Shaylee Yano and freshman Hillary Billingsley both had great comebacks today during the second round. Both players improved their score from yesterday by a significant amount of strokes.
"Hillary made eight birdies today. Knowing she can birdie that many holes in one round should give her a lot of confidence for the spring." Cates-Moore said.
