Cleaning Out the Dog House!

FRESNO, Calif. - Calling all Bulldog supporters, athletic enthusiasts, memorabilia collectors and bargain shoppers! It's the time of year for spring cleaning and TimeOut has been busy tidying up the Dog House.
Saturday, May 1, the Annual Bulldog Yard Sale will be taking place. It's time to get rid of the old and make room for the new. New Fresno State gear that is.
The event will begin at 8 a.m. and held in the Blue Lot next to the Bulldog Stadium entrance, in front of the Bulldog Ticket Office. Parking will be available in the Red Lot. The Bulldog Shop and Fresno State Athletics have cleaned out their closets and have come across plenty of great athletic gear to sell to the public.
In fact, nearly 10,000 items have been pulled together. Each piece will be selling for $5, $10, $20, or $25. This sale proves that even in tough economic times fantastic deals can be found and here is one just for Bulldog fans.
There is new Nike gear, similar to what the `Dogs practice and compete in. There will be an assortment of t-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts and pants, nylon jackets and pants and so much more. And for collectors there will be team worn jerseys and apparel for sale.
"May 1 will be a special day for many teams at Fresno State and we have created a great way for fans to start their day on Saturday," said Paul Ladwig, Associate Athletics Director for Broadcasting and External Relations. "The Bulldog Yard Sale continues grow and this year will be the biggest ever. The prices for the goods are the lowest ever and the items for sale are the best. Come early, we believe we will have quality crowds."
So come out and start the day with some awesome deals and remarkable merchandise. Bring the kids for some free entertainment and fun as they play in TimeOut's bounce house.
Then spend the day enjoying the Fresno State football team in action. The spring scrimmage is set to begin at 1 p.m. and will be the last chance to see the Bulldogs play football in their spring season. Admission is free and open to the public, see you there!

- Track and Field: Fresno State Last Chance Meet: 12 p.m. at Warmerdam Field.
- Football Spring Scrimmage: 1 p.m. in Bulldog Stadium
- Baseball vs. Dallas Baptist: 6:05 p.m. at Beiden Field
