Bulldogs Head to River Park Thursday

FRESNO, Calif. - As the summer moves quickly toward the fall and the start of the 2010 college football season, several members of the Bulldog football team will be at River Park signing autographs and meeting with fans on Thursday evening, July 22.
The team will be at the Farmers Market area at River Park from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Fans are invited to bring items to be autographed, take photographs and can chat with the Bulldogs about the upcoming season.
The Dogs open the 2010 season on Sept. 4 against defending Big East Champion Cincinnati. The Bearcats are ranked in the top 20 of most preseason college football polls. Fresno State has seven home games scheduled for the season and for a limited time season tickets are available for as low as $100.
"The guys have been working very hard this summer and we are looking forward to August and the start of fall camp," said head coach Pat Hill. "This home schedule is the best we've had since I've been at Fresno State and might be the best we've ever had. We are looking forward to coming down the ramp to a sea of red when we take on Cincinnati."
Fresno State's radio partner KMJ 105.9 FM will broadcast live from the event between 6-7 p.m.
Fresno State returns eight starters on offense and defense, led by first-team All-WAC players Andrew Jackson, Ben Jacobs, Chris Carter and Kevin Goessling. The Dogs welcome back all five starting offensive linemen and quarterback Ryan Colburn, a Visalia, Calif, native, who directed an offense that ranked in the Top 20 nationally in scoring, rushing, total offense and passing efficiency.
2010 Bulldog Football Season Ticket Specials (available July 19-30)
In honor of the Fresno State Centennial every seat in section 25 will sell for only $100. There are approximately 800 tickets available at the $100 price, so all interested Bulldog Football fans are encouraged to take advantage of this Centennial offer right away. Current public season ticket holders can also purchase a matching number of season tickets for only $100 per ticket.
All season ticket holders located in the Red Seats can purchase a matching number of Red Seat season tickets for only $245 per ticket (no additional donation necessary). Season ticket holders in the Premium Bench and BDF Bench can purchase a matching number of season tickets for only $100 per ticket in their section (no additional donation necessary).
Seats will be allocated at point of purchase and all season ticket holders will have first priority to renew these seats for the 2011 season at a cost to be determined at a later date. For the first time since 1994 the Dogs have seven home games with BCS foes Cincinnati and Illinois visiting Bulldog Stadium. Cincinnati is the two-time defending Big East Champions while Illinois has won five national championships over the course of its storied career and competed in the Rose Bowl in 2007.
