Alysia Baker
Senior defensive specialist Alysia Baker is on track to graduate in May with a Bachelor's of Arts in kinesiology. Alysia joined the Bulldogs this season after three years down Highway 99 at CSU Bakersfield.
An Oceanside native, who prepped at Tri-City Christian High School, Alysia ranked as one of the top players coming out of San Diego in 2007.
This year as a Bulldog, she has recorded 100 digs and 11 service aces in 77 sets played.
In her previous three seasons at CSUB, Alysia was an All-Independent honoree after she led the independent ranks as a sophomore with a .293 hitting percentage, 54 service aces and 0.5 aces per set.
She also helped lead the Roadrunners to the Division I NCAA Independent Championship match as a freshman.
Brianna Clarke
Senior middle blocker Brianna Clarke is on track to graduate this May from Fresno State with a Bachelor's of Arts in Liberal Studies and pursue a career in elementary education.
A Fresno native, who prepped at Buchanan High School, Clarke is the second-leading blocker in school history with 426 career blocks - which is 11 blocks away from tying the school record of 437 set by Suzie Regal from 1989-92.
Clarke is a two-time second-team All-WAC honoree, two-time preseason All-WAC selection, an Academic All-WAC honoree and was nominated for the Lowe's Senior Class Award.
As a four-year starter, Clarke also earned a spot on the All-WAC Freshman Team and was named to the 2011 Sacramento State Invitational and 2008 Fresno State Invitational All-Tournament Teams.
This season, Clarke leads the team with 241 kills, 92 blocks and 308.5 points with a .329 hitting percentage.
