Senior Kendall VanDine has been a three-year captain of the Bulldog soccer program. She helped lead the team to its third Western Athletic Conference championship match in four years. A cornerstone of a defense that earned 10 shutouts this year, VanDine was named first-team All-WAC and to the All-WAC tournament team. Her play on the pitch and in the classroom earned her Capital One Academic All-District first-team honors for the second time in her career. She is a communicative disorders major with an emphasis in speech language pathology. Other Nominees: "We Are Your Team!" You can stay connected with Fresno State Athletics on Facebook and Twitter. 2011-12 Archive Sysco Central California is proud to honor the Fresno State Athlete of the Week, just as we're proud to serve our local foodservice industry with integrity, trust and a commitment to a healthier community. Since 1938, Sysco has partnered with Central Valley businesses with the goal of helping them flourish and succeed - often keeping family businesses strong for generations. At the same time, we support the people and organizations that make Central California such a special place to call home, including Fresno State and the student athletes who share Sysco's passion for excellence. |
