Club Red Surpasses 100 Members!

FRESNO, Calif. --- For the first time in its history, Fresno State's former student-athlete alumni club has officially reached over 100 members.
Club Red has reached its highest former student-athlete member level to date. The alumni club has surpassed 100 members and Bulldog Foundation employee and former Bulldog student-athlete Jennifer Jory believes that number will continue to grow.
"When former Bulldogs find out all of the great benefits we are offering to them, they will continue to get involved in the program," Jory said. "Staying connected with your alma mater in athletics is so important and Fresno State does a great job of keeping that special Bulldog attachment and feeling alive in the alumni."
This past year the Bulldog Foundation has made an unprecedented investment back into building Club Red by sponsoring events for all former student-athletes and assigning two employees to the continued growth and success of its membership and mission.
The Baseball Bash vs. Nevada, Happy Hour at Buffalo Wild Wings and social at the Press Box Sports Bar were all intended to bring back former athletes and inform them about Club Red.
Bulldog Foundation employee Tyler Mariucci who stays closely involved in the program, noted the importance of Club Red to Fresno State Athletics.
"We wanted to give back to the people who have given this university so much over the years," Mariucci said. "We decided to step it up this year and give this community what they were looking for. Based on the huge response I would say we are going in the right direction and will continue to do so in the future."
Memberships are $25 and benefits include: social events at local restaurants, discounted football and men's basketball tickets, free entrance to all other sporting events, free entrance to tailgates before football games, discounts at The Bulldog Shop and great networking opportunities.
