TEHACHAPI, Calif. --- Kristen Sciacca, a sophomore from Monument, Colo., has stepped up at the net and as part of the Bulldogs' unrelenting attack in her second season at Fresno State.
Through the first eight matches this year, Sciacca ranks third on the team with a .252 hitting percentage and 17 blocks (0.63/set) while the `Dogs faced two Top 20 opponents and earned a big four-set road win over the host Hornets at the Sacramento State Invitational.
Sciacca and the rest of her Bulldog teammates are on their way to Las Vegas to compete against UNLV, Baylor and San Francisco in the 2011 UNLV Classic.
GoBulldogs.com recently asked Sciacca about her life on and off the volleyball court.

Kristen Sciacca: Dancing/ Ballet
GB: If you could play against (beat) any team in the nation who would it be and why?
KS: Notre Dame because I want to beat my sister and her team

KS: Owner of my own flower shop
GB: If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go?
KS: Spain

KS: Seeing too much blood makes me faint
