First SEC Team to Visit Bulldog Stadium

FRESNO, Calif. - After opening WAC play with a dominating 48-24 win at Idaho last weekend, Fresno State now turns its attention to the Mississippi Rebels that come to town next Saturday, Oct. 1 for a nationally televised game on ESPN2.
The city of Fresno will be on display over the next two weeks, as the Bulldogs' next two games are on national television. After playing the Rebels on ESPN2 this Saturday, Fresno State then hosts No. 4 Boise State on ESPN on Friday, Oct. 7.
Boise State will be the highest ranked opponent ever to play at Bulldog Stadium. This week's game against Ole Miss marks the first time a team from the Southeastern Conference pays a visit to the San Joaquin Valley.
Single-game tickets for the Ole Miss and Boise State games start as low as $30 and can be purchased over the phone by calling (559) 278-DOGS, on the internet at gobulldogs.com or bought in person at the Fresno State Ticket Office located at Bulldog Stadium.
Bulldog sophomore quarterback Derek Carr threw for 371 yards and five touchdowns in the win at Idaho. The `Dogs are 1-0 at home this year and 145-40-2 all-time in Bulldog Stadium.
