Fresno State junior outside hitter Marissa Brand was named the Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week and Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of Aug. 29-Sept. 4. This is Brand's first WAC Player of the Week honor of the season and the second of her career. She has won two of the past three WAC weekly awards dating back to the final week of last season.
