With the loss, Fresno State dropped to 5-4 on the season and 2-4 against Pac-12 opponents under Rodney Terry.
Junior Allen Huddleston posted his seventh double-digit scoring game of the season.
Freshman Robert Upshaw became the seventh Bulldog this season to score at least 10 points in a game this season.
Five Bulldogs (Upshaw, T. Johnson, Huddleston, Brown and Foster) grabbed five or more rebounds in the game as Fresno State and Washington State finished even in the rebounding battle (37-37). However, the 'Dogs owned the offensive glass with a season-best 16 offensive rebounds to WSU's nine.
Fresno State improved its steal margin to +35 this season (73-38).
Under Terry, Fresno State has not committed more turnovers that its opponents in 38 of 42 games.
Fresno State fell to 10-3 when leading at halftime under Terry.
