Sophomore Christine Uhalde tied for the individual title at the Peg Barnard Invitational in Stanford, Calif., her first medalist honor of her collegiate career. Uhalde, a native of Modesto, Calif. (Johansen HS), fired a 1-under, 70 during the first round, marking both her lowest round of her career and the only under-par performance on the day. She finished the two-round tournament at 3-over par (70-75--145). This is the first time a Fresno State women's golfer has claimed a tournament title since Hali Coppin won the 2010 WAC Championship. Uhalde was also named the WAC Golfer of the Week for the first time in her career. Other Nominees: "We Are Your Team!"
