Bulldog Invitational Set for Saturday

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State men's and women's track and field teams are hosting its only home meet of the season this Saturday, March 31 at Buchanan High School.
The Bulldog Invitational begins at Warmerdam Field at 2:00 p.m. with the men's and women's hammer throw and javelin until 5 p.m. At that time the meet will move over to Veterans Memorial Stadium at Buchanan High School and continue with the remaining events.
The running events kick off with the 3000-meter steeple chase followed by the 4x100-meter relay and the rest of the field events begin with the women's discus throw.
Other participating schools competing against the Bulldogs will be Stanford, Cal Poly, UC Davis, San Francisco, San Francisco State, Cal State Bakersfield, Santa Clara and Cal State Stanislaus.
The Bulldog Invitational is free to fans who would like to come out and support.
For the Fans:
Some members of the track and field team will be on Great Day (KMPH FOX 26) Thursday morning, so tune in to watch your team teach Clayton Clark a thing or two about track and field from 5:45-10 a.m.
