Thompson Named Fresno State Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week

| Junior Breeauna Thompson was named the Fresno State Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week (April 9-15) after winning both the 200 and 400-meter events at the outdoor Sacramento State Mondo Mid-Major Challenge. Her 24.04 second finish in the 200m dash was the fastest of any Bulldog this season and just .04 seconds off her personal best mark. In her first time running the 400m in an outdoor event this year, Thompson finished in 55.67 seconds to place first. The mark was the second fastest of her career. She owns the 'Dogs fastest times both indoor and outdoor for the 200 and 400m races this year. Other Nominees: "We Are Your Team!"
