Moriah Faulk scored a career-high 27 points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds in leading Fresno State to its third-straight victory with a 76-67 win over Portland. Faulk scored 17 points in the first half, which had already beat her previous career-high for points in a game that was 14 set at Seton Hall at the end of November. Her 27 points are also the most scored by a Bulldog in a game this season. She drained five 3-pointers in the game, which is also a career-high for the sophomore and the most by a Bulldog this season. After Fresno State jumped out to a 41-29 first-half lead, Portland came back in the second half to cut the Bulldog lead down to 47-46 with 13:32 to play. Faulk answered for the Bulldogs by hitting 3-pointers on Fresno State's next two possessions, starting a 8-0 Bulldog run that got their lead back up to nine points and Fresno State went on to win the game by nine. Faulk was also 6-of-7 at the free-throw line in the victory.
