Felipe Fritz Named Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week

Men's tennis freshman Felipe Fritz picked up two wins against Nevada in the 'Dogs first-ever Mountain West win. The Santiago, Chile native first clinched the doubles point with fellow freshman Nikolas Papic at No. 3 with an 8-4 win. In singles with the match tied at 3-3 and after dropping the first set in a tiebreaker, Fritz rallied to win the second set 6-4, then rattled off three straight games in the third after being down 3-4 to take the final set at 6-4 and the match for the 'Dogs. With his singles win, Fritz has won eight out of his last nine singles matches. Other Nominees:
