| The Alta Loma, Calif., native played a huge role in the 'Dogs two road wins last weekend. The freshman defender led the Bulldogs to their first win and shutout of the season against Gonzaga in her fifth straight start in a Fresno State uniform. Holmes scored the game-winning goal against Gonzaga off a free kick in the 24th minute to pick up 1-0 victory. Holmes went on to assist on two goals against Eastern Washington, including setting up Castain for the game-winning goal in the 2OT period to secure the 3-2 victory.
