Student Athlete of the Week - Maci Murdock

| Last weekend in the Alumnae Match, Murdock topped the team in hitting (.712), and her 10 kills made her one of four Bulldogs with a double-digit kill tally and a +.300 hitting total. Last year she ranked third in the Mountain West in hitting (.332), and also topped the team in blocks (107, 0.89 per set). Team-wise last Saturday, the 'Dogs won all five sets (25-13, 25-8, 25-16, 25-17, 15-3) at the Save Mart Center. The team now looks ahead to their official home opener this weekend, the Bulldog Invitational, Friday-Saturday, August 30-31 against Rice, Santa Clara and Cal State Northridge. Also nominated: Morgan Castain, Soccer.
