Rain Causes Delay at St. Mary's Invite

MORAGA, Calif. - The Fresno State women's tennis team competed in three matches due to rain delays on Saturday at the St. Mary's Invitational.
The Bulldogs went 1-for-3 in singles play on day two at the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex. Junior Anneka Watts defeated Cal Poly's Emily Gibbens, 6-4;6-1.
Doubles play will resume on Sunday, Oct. 26 as well as the scheduled matches that were rained out on Saturday. Competition will get under way at 8:30 a.m. with two rounds of singles and doubles play.
