Senior Madchen Ly fired a career-low 67 in the third round of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown on Oct. 28 and posted a career-low tournament score of 213 to finish in a fourth-place tie at the tournament. She recorded an eagle on the par-4 (377 yards) seventh hole at the Boulder Creek Golf Club during the third round of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, making her the only golfer to record an eagle on the seventh hole out of 95 individuals at the 54-hole event. Ly capped her fall season with two top-5 finishes in the month of October and a total of three top-5 finishes out of five fall events. Out of seven stroke play rounds in October, Ly shot under par three times: 1-under, 1-under and 3-under.
