Dobson Named Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week

In four road games last week, freshman shortstop Ryan Dobson led the 'Dogs with a .538 batting average, .571 on base percentage, 1.000 slugging percentage and 13 total bases. He tied the team-lead with six runs scored. Dobson batted better than .500 in each game played, going 7-for-13 in four starts. Against Nevada on April 19, he registered his first career home run and triple in the same game.
