Johnson Named Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week

Sophomore Dezirae Johnson ran a personal-best 54.37 seconds in the 400-meter dash to win the Mountain West Conference championship. It was Johnson's first time under 55 seconds in her career in the event. She was also a part of the conference championship 4x400 relay team. They posted a time of 3:38.45 to come within a second of the school record set in 1998. Johnson is an Exercise Science major.
