Last weekend, Zana Bowens received her first career all-tourney honor after an impressive final-day effort in the Adidas Rice Invitational. In Fresno State's 3-2 comeback win Saturday vs. UC Davis, she led the team lead in kills (15), points (15.5) and digs (career high 20). Later that night in the three-set tourney finale against Rice, she paced the team with team season highs in kills (16) and points (18), and also in aces (2). Her double-doubles vs. Rice (16 kills, 10 digs) and UC Davis (15K, 20D) were her third and fourth as a Bulldog, and the kill totals were the fourth- and fifth-highest of her career. Combined for the weekend's three matches, she led the team in kills (2.92 per set), hitting (.267) and points (3.12 p/s), and ranked third in digs (2.75 p/s) and aces (0.17 p/s).
