Brown Named Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week

Sophomore western rider Taylor Brown went undefeated against Baylor, University Tennessee-Martin and Southern Methodist University this weekend at the Willis Invitational. Against SMU, Brown earned a 72.5 in horsemanship over her opponent's score of 69.5. She grabbed her first Most Outstanding Player award of the season for this ride. In reining, she won the point, 68-65.5, leading to a second Most Outstanding Player award. She earned the point against UTM in reining, earning a score of 69 over her opponent's 67.5. Against Baylor, Brown defeated her opponent in horsemanship, 73.5-73, and in reining, 69-67.5.
