Divers Show Well at UCLA Invite

LOS ANGELES -- Fresno State's divers competed on the 1-meter springboard competition on Sunday afternoon at the UCLA Diving Invitational.
Shelbie Holden finished 12th after scoring a total of 481.25 points. The sophomore scored a 242.45 in the preliminary round to advance to the finals. Teammate Lacie Ruth, coming off lifetime-best performances at the Beach Cup on Friday and Saturday, scored a 203.75 to finish 29th.
Aimee Harrison of the University of Hawaii won the event with a total score of 595.90. She edged out Maria Polyakova of UCLA by .70 points.
The pair of Bulldog divers will compete on Monday morning on the Platform to close out their time at the UCLA Diving Invitational.
