'Dogs Diver Close Busy Weekend

LOS ANGELES -- Fresno State divers closed their busy weekend of competition, one that saw them compete on four straight days, with a good day on the Platform at the UCLA Diving Invitational.
Junior Lacie Ruth finished 10th with a total score of 419.95. She had advanced to the finals with a 201.55, good for 12th in the preliminary round. She then scored a 218.40 in the finals to move up two spots.
Shelbie Holden finished 18th, a day after finishing 12th on the 1-Meter. The sophomore scored a 187.15.
USC's Haley Ishimatsu won the event with a score of 604.70.
The Bulldogs' swimmers and divers will be back in action on Saturday, January 31, when they travel to the Bay Area to take on rival San Jose State in a dual meet.
