Swim and Dive Drops Dual

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The Fresno State swimming and diving team closed the regular season on Saturday afternoon with a 212-86 dual meet loss against San Jose State at the Spartans Aquatics Center.
Bulldog swimmers won two events on the day.
Sophomore Tarryn Rennie picked up the first Fresno State win. She swam a 2:06.05 in the 200 Butterfly to grab the victory and pick up nine points towards the team total. The other Bulldog to pick up a win and nine points for the team total was junior Leah Hatayama. She swam the 50 Freestyle in 24.10 seconds.
In the diving events, sophomore Shelbie Holden finished second on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards. She scored a 269.63 on the 1-meter board and finished just .07 points behind San Jose State's Cari Reiswig. Holden scored a 272.85.
Fresno State will now be off for two and half weeks before they travel to San Antonio, Texas for the 2015 Mountain West Conference Championships.
