Club Red Announces Inaugural Class of Officers

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State Bulldog Foundation announced two special items on Friday, the inaugural class of officers in the history of Club Red, and the opportunity to join the exclusive organization that caters only to Fresno State's former student-athletes.
The five former Fresno State student athletes that make up the inaugural class of officers for Club Red will be:
• President - Gena Strang-Behrens, Softball, 1985-88
• Vice President - Kevin Jordan, Football, 1996-00
• Treasurer - Denise Williams, Volleyball, 1984-88
• Special Projects Chair - Lyda Brand, Cross Country, Track & Field, 1982-83
• Media Director - Kasandra Martinson, Lacrosse, 2008-12
"It's an honor to be president of Club Red and be a part of a group of former student athletes who still have great passion for Fresno State," said President Strang-Behrens. "The vision of Club Red is to reconnect former student athletes to Fresno State as well as build relationships with our current athletes. The personal and professional experience that Club Red members have will benefit our current athletes and prepare them for life after college."
The Club Red mission is to provide former Fresno State student-athletes an exclusive platform through which all former Bulldogs can build and maintain a lifelong association with Fresno State and its Department of Athletics, and celebrate the special bond shared by all Fresno State student-athletes.
Club Red members also receive exclusive member benefits and a wealth of networking opportunities for the annual rate of just $25, applicable to new membership and renewals.
