Mazutaityte Named Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week

Ugne Mazutaityte, a freshman in the Mass Communication and Journalism Department emphasizing in Public Relations, swam away with two first-place finishes and a Fresno State program record during the Bulldogs' swimming and diving meet in Reno, Nev., last Saturday. Ugne won the 100 Backstroke with a time of 56.76 seconds and the 200 Backstroke with a school-record 1:58.66. The Kaunas, Lithuania native was also a part of the second-place 200 Medley and 200 Freestyle Relay teams.
