Team Notes
Fresno State had its five-game season-opening winning streak snapped to drop to 5-1.
This is the fifth time in school history that Fresno State has started the season 5-0 and lost its next game. In each of the last three times (1981, 1996 and 2002), Fresno State went on to win at least 20 games, including a 27-3 record and Sweet Sixteen appearance during the 1981-82 season.
Fresno State is now 2-10 when playing Oregon, including a 0-8 record when playing in Eugene.
Fresno State is also 2-10 when playing Pac-12 opponents in Terry's first five seasons, with losses in each of the last seven contests versus Pac-12 teams. The Bulldogs last beat a Pac-12 team on Dec. 21, 2011 when Fresno State rallied from a 17-point deficit to defeat Arizona State 68-65 in Tempe.
Fresno State outrebounded Oregon 41-32, including a +13 (27-16) advantage in the second half. Fresno State has now won the rebounding battle (when not including team rebounds) in all six games this season . Fresno State committed a season-high 18 turnovers to commit more turnovers than its opponent for the first time this season as the Bulldogs forced Oregon to commit a season-high 17 turnovers.
