Marvelle Harris Named Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week

Fresno State senior guard Marvelle Harris, a communication major, averaged 22.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals with a 9-to-1 assist to turnover ratio as the Bulldogs beat Bakersfield 76-68 and lost 85-77 to defending CIT champion Evansville.
In the Bulldogs' win over Bakersfield, Harris scored six of the Bulldogs' 11-0 go-ahead run late in the second half. Fresno State never relinqueshed the lead after that point.
During the week, Harris continued his climb up Fresno State's all-time scoring list - moving from 6th to 5th. Harris also now ranks No. 2 on the Bulldogs' all-time free throw and free throw attempts list.
