Mazutaityte Named Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week

Ugne Mazutaityte, a freshman in the Mass Communication and Journalism department emphasizing in Public Relations, broke two Lithuanian records at the AT&T Winter National Championships last weekend in Federal Way, Wash. The Kaunas, Lithuania native swam 1:02.62 in the 100m backstroke and 2:13.19 in the 200m back. After converting the times from meters to yards, both times break the Fresno State records that Mazutaityte set earlier this season (100y back: 54.04; 200y back: 1:55.47).
