Fresno State swept the the season series with San Jose State for the second straight season with the win.
The Bulldogs' 81-63 win moved them to 6-4 in the Mountain West. It is the first 6-4 start to conference play since the 2004-05 season.
It was a 37-31 game at the half in favor of Fresno State and the Bulldogs are now 10-0 this season when they lead after the first 20 minutes.
The 18-point margin of victory was the largest for Fresno State in a Mountain West game this season.
Five Bulldogs scored in double figures in the victory on Wednesday night. It was the first time that has happened this season and Fresno State is now 5-0 under head coach Rodney Terry when they put five players in double figures.
Fresno State was the first team to reach 70 points and is now 4-0 this season and 19-0 over the last two years when they reach the 70-point mark before their opponent.
The Bulldogs finished the game shooting 50.9% (27-for-53) and are now 4-0 this season and 21-2 under Terry when they make over half of their shots from the field.
Player Notes
Cezar Guerrero - 14 points, 8 rebounds
The junior scored in double figures for the fifth time in the six games that he has appeared in this season ... His eight rebounds doubled his previous season-high and was just two off of his career-high of 10 that he pulled down last season at UTEP ... Guerrero was 11-for-14 at the free throw line, both were season-highs and the 14 attempts ties his career-high from last season against Bakersfield.
Karachi Edo - 12 points, 4 rebounds
Edo scored in double figures for the third time in a Mountain West game this and the 12 points were a season-high in a conference game ... He was 6-of-10 at the free throw line and the makes and attempts are his highest in a conference game this season.
Marvelle Harris - 11 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists
Harris was one rebound and four assists shy of his first career triple double ... Scored in double figures for the 19th straight game and the 21st time in 23 games this season ... He tied a season-high with his nine rebounds.
Julien Lewis - 11 points, 6 steals
Recorded a career-high six steals, doubling his previous high ... The six steals were the most in a game by a Bulldog this season ... Lewis scored in double figures for the fifth time in a Mountain West game this season.
