Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational Results - Final 
KANE'OHE, O'ahu - Senior Madchen Ly carried over a solid first day at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational into Tuesday's final round, firing a 72 even-par at Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course to place in a tie for fifth overall. As a unit, Fresno State finished in fifth place out of the 15-team field.
On the back nine, Ly put together a turkey (three-straight birdies) on holes 15-17, in part of a 1-under back. With 11 birdies at the Thompson Invitational, Ly tied for the third-most among the 88-person field.
Sophomore Guðrún Brá Björgvinsdóttir and freshman Joanna Kim both carded an 11-over and tied for 24th at Hawai'i's annual tournament. Björgvinsdóttir shot 6-over on Tuesday while Kim was 2-over.
Freshman Mimi Ho showed the greatest score improvement from her first two rounds to the last, firing a personal tournament-low 2-over on Tuesday. She was 12-over and finished 27th overall.
Senior Hannah Sodersten tied for 29th, shooting 14-over, over three rounds in Hawai'i. She was 5-over Tuesday.
The Fresno State women's golf team will be back in action March 20-21 at the Mountain View Collegiate at Saddlebrook Country Club in Tucson, Ariz.
