Fresno State to Host TCU & Georgia

By Jillian Bertolucci FRESNO, Calif.--The No. 6 Fresno State equestrian team will host No. 4 Texas Christian University and No. 2 University of Georgia in a tournament this weekend at the Student Horse Center. On Friday, the `Dogs will compete against TCU. On Saturday, they will take on Georgia. Pulling off upsets at home is nothing new to the `Dogs. In the fall, Fresno State upset both Kansas State and Auburn. The National Collegiate Equestrian Association announced yesterday that after two strong wins on the road against University of Minnesota, Crookston and South Dakota State University, the `Dogs moved up one spot in the rankings to number 6. Competition will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday. This is the last regular-season competition before the United Equestrian Association Conference Championship, which will be hosted at Fresno State.
