Senior Day/Kids Day at Last Home Meet Saturday

FRESNO, Calif. -With conference championships just three weeks away, the Fresno State track and field team is hosting its last home meet of the outdoor season, celebrating Kids Day and Senior Day at the Bulldog Invitational on April 25.
The men and women's hammer throw and javelin will open the competition at the Wamerdam Field on the Fresno State campus at 10 a.m. The rest of the events will start at 1:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Stadium on Buchanan High School.
The Bulldog Invitational is not only the last home meet of the 2015 outdoor season, but it is also the last chance that the seniors of the men and women's track and field team will compete as Fresno State Bulldogs.
Seniors Brice Sandri, Caitlin Byrd, Kayley Braucher, Olivier Bernard, Chriss Grimble, Carina Mendoza, Meagan Paracholski, Julianne Jacques, Lyndsie Etherton, Jeffrey Dewall, Joshua Garza, Devin Harrison, Jayjoel Fernandez, Justin Lovingood and Karissa Bell will be recognized before the 4x400 relay competitions begin at roughly 4:30 p.m.
The Bulldogs will be going against athletes from UNLV, Nevada, San Jose State, Cal State Northridge, Cal Poly, Cal State Bakersfield, Fresno Pacific and University of the Pacific.
The Fresno State track team and staff will also be hosting a 50m Fastest Kid Race for three different age groups in honor of Kids Day. The age groups will include 4 years-old and under, 5-7 year-olds and 8-10 year-olds. Signs ups will be between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the announcer's tent in the stadium near the finish line.
