Eppright Named Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week

Junior libero Maggie Eppright earned her second career All-Tournament honor after helping Fresno State to a 2-1 record at the Catamount Classic (Aug. 28-29) in Cullowhee, N.C. She logged double-digit dig figures in all three matches including a team-high of 22 digs against Georgia State, only seven shy of her 2013 career game-high (28), during what was a comeback victory over the Blue and White. The San Luis Obispo, Calif., native currently stands atop the Mountain West individual rankings in digs (64, 5.82 p/s) with a second-best match high of 22 digs, as the Bulldogs tallied their first victory of the season. Additionally, Eppright had five assists on the weekend, adding to her career total of 123 in the previous two seasons.
