Galina Bykova helped lead the No. 54 Fresno State women's tennis team to back-to-back upsets over No. 34 Arkansas and No. 9 UCLA during the ITA Kick-Off Weekend in Los Angeles, Calif. Bykova went 2-0 in the dual matches, defeating Arkansas' Mia Jurasic (6-4, 6-0), last week's SEC Player of the Week, before claiming the dual-match winning point the following day against UCLA with a 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 win over Alaina Miller. With her point, she helped send the Bulldogs to the ITA National Women's Team Indoor Championships which begin on Feb. 5.
Fresno State's win over the Bruins, the 2015 national runner-up, was just the second in program history and fourth victory over a Top 10 team dating back to 2000.
